국가대표팀은 오늘 호주를 상대로 2:1로 승리했다.

경기는 호주의 촘촘한 수비로 시작됐다. 모든 선수들이 수비에 집중하고 슛도 많이 내지 않았다. 대표팀은 선수들이 페널티박스 안에서 득점을 시도할 때마다 호주 선수들은 공간을 좁혀 탄탄한 수비를 펼쳤다.

반면 전반 동안 공 점유율 70%를 차지하는 등 강력한 공격을 펼쳤다. 그러나 호주의 막강한 수비에 힘입어 아무런 슛도 넣지 못했다.

전반전 대부분의 경기가 순조롭게 진행되었지만, 크레이그 굿윈 선수가 42분에 호주 팀의 득점을 기록했다.

후반에도 계속되는 득점 난관으로 호주팀의 탄탄한 수비를 뚫지 못했다. 그럼에도 불구하고 후반전 역시 별다른 진전 없이 대한민국의 추가시간은 7분에 불과해 대한민국이 골을 넣었다.

후반 2분 손흥민은 페널티박스 안에서 넘어져 페널티킥을 얻었다. 후반전을 마무리하며 황희찬은 연장전에 돌입해 페널티킥을 성공시켰고, 사우디아라비아전과 비슷한 상환을 만들었다.

연장전 전반 3분 황희찬이 페널티박스 앞에서 프리킥을 얻어냈다. 손흥민은 능숙한 회전슛을 쳐내며 2:1 동점을 만들었다.

호주팀의 추가 득점 없이 대한민국은 승리하며 4강에 진출했다. 대표팀의 다음 경기는 한국시간 2월 6일 밤 12시, 요르단과의 4강 경기이다.

South Korea Sweeps a Victory Against Australia Today with a Score of 2:1.

The game started off with Australia's tight defense, with all the players focusing on the defending, with not as many shots by them. Whenever South Korea's players tried to score inside of the penalty box, the Australian players tightened their space, resulting in a strong and solid defense. 

On the other hand, South Korea had a strong offense, possessing 70% of the ball during the first half. However, they were not able to make any shots due to the strong defense by Australia.

After most of the first half being uneventful, player Craig Goodwin scored for the Australian team at the 42 minute mark. 

With constant difficulty of scoring in the second half, South Korea was not able to penetrate the strong defense of the Australian team. Nevertheless, the majority of the second half was also uneventful, proceeding to only 7 minutes of extra time for South Korea to score a goal. 

In the last 2 minutes of the second half, Son Heung-min was able to dribble the ball into the penalty box. Fortunately, the Australian team made a tackle, tripping Son, giving a penalty for Korea. Concluding the second half, Hwang Hee-chan was able to score the penalty moving onto overtime, reflecting on the national team’s last game with Saudi Arabia, where they also drew the points by scoring in the last minute of the match.

In the first half of the overtime, Hwang Hee-chan was able to get a free kick in front of the penalty box. Son was able to kick a curve ball in the blind spot of the keeper, shifting the score to 2:1.

With no other scoring from the Australian team, South Korea was able to become victorious, proceeding into the semi finals. The national team’s next game will be on February 6 at 12pm, with Jordan.
